On display until 11 April 2021
Enjoy great art outdoors this summer as you explore our Artist Garden and works by internationally acclaimed artist Michael Lyons.
‘Ancient and Modern’ includes nine sculptures inspired by nature, myth and ancient cultures, all surrounded by 10 acres of beautiful York Museum Gardens. All of this is right in the heart of York City Centre and easily accessible.
Lyons, who died suddenly in April 2019, worked from Cawood, North Yorkshire, with this the first major exhibition of his work in York.
This exhibition is free to all! If you can support York Museums Trust during these difficult times, please click here.
