Members and their guests are invited to join us for a free evening private view of two major new exhibitions at York Art Gallery – The Sea is the Limit and 70 Years of Giving Art on Tuesday 8 May, 6 – 8pm.

The Sea is the Limit features thought provoking works of art exploring the current and ongoing issues of migration, dispossession and national borders. 70 Years of Giving Art showcases some much-loved works from York Art Gallery’s acclaimed collections that have been acquired or restored thanks to the Friends of York Art Gallery.

Each valid YMT Card holder is invited to bring one guest. York Art Gallery’s Collections Facilitator, Fiona Green, will give a short introduction to both shows starting at 6:30pm.
