Following a city-wide power cut yesterday (6 May 2016), the Yorkshire Museum, York Castle Museum and York Art Gallery are open today as normal.

Please note however that the card readers are currently unavailable at York Castle Museum, and we are therefore only able to take cash payments. We apologise for this inconvenience and hope to rectify the problem soon.
