Community Projects

York Museums Trust works with many local community groups as part of our day-to-day work organising our exhibitions, collections and schools programmes.

We also run two major long-term community projects which aim to open up our venues to local groups through special activities:

Community Art - based at York Art Gallery

Community Archaeology - based at the Yorkshire Museum
